Engineers and surveys
Marine engineers and manufacturers' own service agents, arranged at short notice at any port from Dover to Falmouth, with class and flag surveys attended and closed out while you are in port.
What we arrange
- 01
Breakdowns alongside
If something fails while you are alongside, we arrange for a marine engineer to attend and diagnose it.
- 02
Manufacturers' service agents
Where the fault lies with a named piece of equipment, we bring in the manufacturer's own authorised service agent, so that the warranty is protected.
- 03
Planned work
With three days' notice, an engineer and the parts are waiting on the quay when you arrive.
- 04
Contractors
Contractors working aboard are scoped, supervised and signed off on your behalf, against a written scope agreed with you first.
- 05
Parts and spares
Parts sourced from the manufacturer or its agent, and spares from abroad delivered with the customs formalities arranged.
- 06
Class and flag surveys
Surveys arranged with the classification society or the flag, attended aboard with you, and findings closed out while the yacht is in port.

An engineer and the parts on the quay when you arrive, with three days' notice.
Before work starts
We agree a written scope and an estimate with you before any work starts. Send us the job list and the equipment details before you sail, and we confirm the attendance, the parts and the estimate before the yacht reaches port.
Where a survey falls due during a visit, tell us the date and the scope when you first contact us, and we book the surveyor to suit the yacht's programme.
