The season, 2027

Watermans acts for a yacht through the season, from Falmouth in the west to London. Berths, pilotage, clearance and stores are arranged at each port, on a single account.

Falmouth and the west, June

Falmouth Classics is held in June, with three days of racing and parades in the harbour. Fowey Classics is held in the same month.

In the years it runs, the Richard Mille Cup races its first legs from Falmouth before the fleet crosses to France. Pendennis Shipyard’s superyacht regatta, the Pendennis Cup, is held every two years, on dates set by the yard.

The Solent, July

Cowes Classics Week falls in late May or June. In July the RORC race to Dinard and St Malo starts off Cowes on 2 July, and the Round the Island Race follows on 10 July.

The Admiral’s Cup runs from 13 to 28 July, ending with the start of the Rolex Fastnet Race on 24 July. Cowes Week follows from 31 July to 6 August, and island berths for it are booked well ahead. The Southampton International Boat Show is in September.

London, the summer

The London season runs from the Boat Race in April and Chelsea in May to Trooping the Colour on 12 June, Royal Ascot from 15 June, Wimbledon from 28 June and Henley from 29 June.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed follows from 15 July and the Proms run to 11 September, with London Fashion Week, the Goodwood Revival and Frieze London in the autumn. The London page has the tiers and the full list.
