Watermans is a UK superyacht agency supporting captains, managers and crew at the principal ports from Dover and the Pool of London to Falmouth. We look after your whole visit, from planning and clearance before you arrive to berthing, provisioning and departure, so that your time in the United Kingdom is as smooth as possible.
We book the berth, arrange the pilot, coordinate bridges and locks, and handle customs and immigration procedures with the United Kingdom Border Force. While you are alongside we arrange fuel, provisions, transport, engineers and anything else the yacht or her guests require, and we are standing by throughout your stay.
London is an increasingly popular yachting destination, for business and pleasure alike, and the south coast offers the Solent regattas and the deep harbours of Devon and Cornwall. We would be glad to show you both.
The port call fee is set by length overall, and a written estimate follows the same working day. For overseas agents and managers, we act as United Kingdom correspondent and work through you for the whole call.

All newsCan a large superyacht reach the Pool of London?
Yes. Tower Bridge Upper, in the Upper Pool 300 metres above the bridge, takes yachts of up to 158 metres, with a Tower Bridge lift for any yacht of 9 metres air draught or more.
Solent pilotage for superyachts: Southampton, Portsmouth and Cowes compared
Pilotage in the Solent is compulsory at 61 metres and over for Southampton, at 48 metres and over for Portsmouth, and at 48 metres in the inner harbour and 61 metres in the outer harbour at Cowes. There is no pilotage in the western Solent or the Needles.
Bringing a superyacht into Falmouth
Falmouth is a deep natural harbour open at all states of the tide. Port Pendennis takes yachts of over 80 metres alongside, the Crossroads mooring in Carrick Roads takes yachts of up to 180 metres, and pilotage is compulsory by zone.
The 2027 calendar includes Falmouth Classics in June, the Admiral’s Cup, the start of the Rolex Fastnet Race and Cowes Week in July, and, in London, Royal Ascot, Wimbledon and Henley Royal Regatta in June and July. The full dates are listed on the UK cruising page.
