Where a superyacht can berth in central London

The Port of London Authority's tiers take yachts of up to 228 metres, and St Katharine Docks, beside the Tower, takes yachts of up to about 42 metres.

Central London has four places for a large yacht. Greenwich Ship Tier takes yachts of up to 228 metres, five miles below Tower Bridge. Tower Bridge Upper, in the Upper Pool 300 metres above the bridge, takes yachts of up to 158 metres, and George Stairs Tier, just below the bridge, up to 120 metres.

The three tiers are operated under one contract to the Port of London Authority and are booked on 48 hours' notice. They are tender berths, so guests and crew land by tender or licensed launch.

St Katharine Docks, beside the Tower of London, is the only marina in central London. It takes yachts of up to about 42 metres and 12 metres beam through its lock, with walk-ashore berths and power up to 125 amps.
