Centenary Rolex Fastnet Race: Léon wins overall

A record 444 entries started the 695 mile race from Cowes on 26 July, finishing at Cherbourg, and 95 per cent completed the course.

The two-handed JPK 1050 Léon, sailed by Alexis Loison and Jean-Pierre Kelbert, won overall under IRC. Black Jack 100 (Remon Vos) took monohull line honours in 2 days 12 hours 31 minutes, and SVR Lazartigue multihull honours in 1 day 17 hours 18 minutes.

The race was first sailed in 1925 and has finished at Cherbourg since 2021. The next edition starts from Cowes in July 2027, during the Admiral's Cup.
