Falmouth Harbour supplies HVO renewable diesel

A 6,500 litre facility for hydrotreated vegetable oil is now in service at the harbour's fuel berth.

The facility cost GBP 50,000, half of it funded by Cornwall Council, and the fuel is supplied by Mitchell and Webber. Delivery to vessels is available for an hour either side of high water, booked with the harbour office on 01326 310999.

Engines must be approved for fuel to EN 15940. The harbour has not published a price.
