Parade of sail in support of the Falmouth Docks development

More than 20 vessels from Cornish marine businesses took part in a parade of sail supporting the proposed redevelopment of Falmouth Docks.

The proposal covers strengthened wharves, deep-water berths and adaptable infrastructure within the docks. Vessels from FalRiver, Seawide Services, Kraken Marine Services, Greypen Shipping Agents, Mylor Creek Boatyard and the King Harry Ferry took part, and supporters were asked to comment through the Cornwall Council planning portal.

The harbour's announcement does not give the planning status of the scheme. Pendennis Shipyard and Balaena, which share the docks, are on the technical page.
