Speeding in Dartmouth harbour leads to a GBP 4,625 fine

A RIB operator recorded at 28 knots in the six knot zone near Noss Marina after dark pleaded guilty at Newton Abbot Magistrates' Court.

The offence took place on 6 September 2025. The six knot limit runs from the Castle Ledge buoy to Totnes weir, and it applies to a yacht's tenders as it does to any other vessel on the river.
